Every product and solution should have one person looking from the eyes of the customer, and including customers in this process, to coordinate: product fitness, development priorities and schedules, documentation, customer and sales training, quality assurance, packaging, positioning, competitive research, pricing, customer service, rollout and the overall customer experience. Your product manager is the hub and ultimately responsible for your success. You cannot afford to skimp on this. The more capable person you have in this role, the more successful your products and solutions will be.
